‘The Church of the Resurrection Macedon Ranges’
Wood, Queensland White Beech
310mm x 190mm x 29mm
The recreation in wood of a postcard, drawn by Geoffrey Rodda, a parishioner, to raise money to pay for this building that replaces two churches destroyed in the Ash Wednesday bushfires in 1983. The carver was a member of the Building Committee and warden of this church. Where would we be without our faith in these difficult times.
How does your work engage with the theme ‘The World at Home’?
In these difficult times when all churches are closed and no face to face services are allowed, The Church of the Resurrection and all the wonderful memories that come with it, is My Church at Home.
